Stephanie is a sought-after teacher in the Boston area who offers conservatory-level training to elementary school aged through adult students. She primarily teaches musical theater, classical, and opera, but also teaches students who work on contemporary styles.

Stephanie is a holistic teacher and aims for her students to become confident performers who use a healthy technique to produce a beautiful, free, speech-based sound to communicate through music. She motivates her students to enjoy the process of finding their best sound and to feel pride in their improvements. She works with students to develop musical skills, improve vocal quality, and broaden musical knowledge. She aims for her students to find a healthy, marketable sound, while also maintaining each students individuality and core of sound. She has a passion for passing her love of music to her students, and she focuses on teaching a healthy technique while inspiring her students as artists.

Stephanie also enjoys working on audition preparation and loves helping her students through the audition process. She uses her directing experience to help her students with stage presence and acting through music in order to become full, well-rounded performers. Stephanie enjoys fostering a sense of community within her studio by offering group studio classes and performance opportunities in addition to lessons. She loves mentoring her students as they develop their voices and inspiring them to reach their full potential as performers.

Lessons are available at Stephanie's Jamaica Plain studio or online.

Private lessons are 60 minutes long, during which the student will work on technical exercises and repertoire. Lessons also include music theory and acting skills.

Semester lessons include:
*at least 1 recital performance per semester
*annual masterclasses and studio classes

*resume help
*appropriate audition, masterclass, & competition opportunity listings

*a solo senior recital
*college and career guidance and mentorship for students pursuing music and theater

*and more!

Stephanie is also available for private acting coaching, small group lessons, music theory/sight singing/piano lessons, college audition guidance, and coaching for setting up and running a private studio as her schedule allows. Please contact her for more information about these offerings.

Most of Stephanie's students enjoy performing outside of lessons and have had featured roles in shows at their schools and youth theater groups. Many of Stephanie's students have been in shows at professional theaters in the Boston area and featured soloists with local music groups. Students have won awards for performances and been finalists in national competitions.

In addition to theater, many of her students enjoy singing in select local choirs, as well as in advanced choir and a capella groups at their high schools.

Stephanie has worked with many students who have gone on to study music and theatre at top college programs. Stephanie feels very lucky to get to work with students with talent, passion, and a strong work ethic.
